A dichotomous assay (quantal response assay or binary assay) is a biological dilution assay based on a binary outcome. E.g. a number of specimens out of a total number of specimens shows a specified physiological response. The raw data of a dichotomous assay is a tupel of two integer numbers.
PLA 3.0 supports the biostatistical analysis of dichotomous assays with the probit or logit fit functions.
With PLA 3.0, you are able to calculate the potency of each standard/sample combination of your bioassay seperately or simultaneously.
