In this video, we present the capabilities of the Generic Document Types 2.0, available for PLA 3.0.7 and higher.

The Generic Document Types add-on provides three powerful document types that support structured data management in PLA 3.0. Whether you're organizing results, adding context to assay runs, or managing contact information – these tools help you work more efficiently and transparently.

Table Documents

Aggregate results across multiple assay runs, create worklists, or prepare data for export and further use – all in one place.

Note Documents

Add context-rich information to your data: annotations, links, attachments, or reminders directly connected to your assay workflow.

Contact Documents

Track collaborators and related information directly within the PLA database. Link contact records to projects, datasets, or meetings.All three document types are fully compliant with GMP and 21 CFR Part 11.

Example reports

  • Example report of a Note document with PLA 3.0 7 KB
    This report shows details about the Customer Support of PLA 3.0. It contains the e-mail address and website links.
  • Generic Document Types 2.0.1 12 KB
    This report presents the results of 24 (hypothetical) assay runs recorded in the Observations data table, with three assay runs conducted per day. The primary information captured for each run includes the relative potency of the Standard-Sample combination and its 95% confidence limits. The document also specifies whether each individual assay passed its test system evaluation.
